Few days in to a 6 month stint at sea. Looking for new authors/series to keep me going.

Hi all, I’m currently at the start of a 6 month stint working away on a ship. WiFi isn’t good enough to stream and the TV signal is always down! Wondering if anyone can recommend me some books to check out? I love sci-fi and fantasy. Really loved the Raymond Feist riftwar saga. Also interested in anything post apocalyptic and crazy real life stories. Open to anything really. Have a kindle there so I’m able to download books onto it. Thanks!
