You’re going to get a lot of recommendations for Project Hail Mary, which I also think is an excellent audiobook. The book itself isn’t for everyone.
I highly recommend Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman and The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells!

Hyperion by Dan Simmons – the audiobook has a full cast

as something different from the same books that are alwys recommended here, i’ve been listening to this – it’s kept me interested throughout and has a good narrator. Not perfect but fun and i’m quite invested in what happens. some very good action scenes and intriguing story. Miles Cameron Arcana Imperii series. First one is Artifact Space.
