Hello, I was wondering if anyone had some mystery recs that had a similar vibe to Keigo Higashino? I really love how much focus he puts on characters, where the mystery sometimes almost feels like it's in the background.
Not interested in cozy mysteries though. Something with a bit more grit, but not too much, like I just tried to start Triptych by Karin Slaughter but that was way too much for me. @_@
