I help stock a library at my kids' high school and one of the kids has asked for more science books. I'm looking for recommendations for books (either YA or adult) that high school kids may enjoy (not too advanced, specialized, technical.) In terms of YA I have Queer Ducks and Future Tense. I also have The Infinite Universe and a couple others. Thank you!

Neil DeGrasse Tyson was on the NY Times best sellers list for a reason, even seen ppl here in the NY subway reading him. Good communicator I suppose. I like behavioral economics and the like. Freakonomics is a great book for thinking differently and analyzing things , think Malcolm Gladwell
For high schoolers, get some Carl Sagan. Demon Haunted World, Science as a Candle in the Dark, and Cosmos would be great additions.
