My nine-year-old son is very into reading. I bought him one of Yuval Noah Harari's children's books recently. He loved it so much, I bought him the other two versions. History and warfare are becoming increasingly fascinating to him. He is all day searching for information about Napoleon's battles or Dzjengis Khan's surprise attacks. He even mimics them with his Lego.
Despite wanting to feed him more literature, I am not able to find any.
At the library, I only found books with 'small facts' or very easy or limited books for children. For adult books I think he is too young.
Would anyone be able to recommend books that will keep my son interested?
