I'm still fairly new to reading, but I finished my 25th book since I re-started my reading journey back in 2023. 11/22/63 is now my favorite book I've ever read! I'm very sad to not be in that world anymore with those characters.
I'd love to pick up a book that has a similar epic (but cozy still?) feeling to it, with heartwarming character interactions, a compelling romance thread, and a vivid world like 11/22/63 had for the entire middle chunk.
I can take or leave the time travel element (or any sci-fi/fantasy elements). But I would like the world to be fairly grounded in reality. I also REALLY liked how 11/22/63 was written, it was so digestible but compelling.
I'd love to hear what you guys have to say. I've mainly been reading sci-fi/fantasy lately (Red Rising saga, Discworld) but this is my 3rd King book (IT and Pet Semetary were the other 2), and I felt it was such a lovely change of pace for me. Thanks in advance!

11/22/63 is one of those books that kind of ends up ruining your life because it’s so great and then you’re just chasing that high forever because there’s truly nothing else like it.
Maybe the Dead zone by stephen king, has similar vibes.
