Which adaptation do you think is anti-advertising for a book?

Many have seen adaptations of certain books. And after watching it, you wanted to know what was in the original source. That's how I got to know the books about Percy Jackson.

But which adaptation did you dislike so much that it alienated you from the original source?

For me, it was Goldfinch. The film was so empty, forgettable and boring that now I don't want to read Donna Tartt's book, no matter how much they praised it.
