I've read some really amazing books recommended by this sub. I'd love to pick my next read, can you help me? Bonus points if the audiobooks are amazing:
- Lonesome Dove
- Wolf Hall
- East of Eden
- No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency
- Demon Copperhead
- Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood
- The Shining (my first Stephen King!)
- Anne of Green Gables (re-read but really enjoyed the audiobook based on recommendations from the sub)
Not 5 stars but enjoyed immensely nonetheless:
- The Goldfinch
- Remarkably Bright Creatures
- Rivers of London
- The Blade Itself

Carrie by Stephen King read by Sissy Spacek is great! If you enjoyed The Shining I definitely recommend it!

If you like King and audiobooks, Delores Claiborne. I’ve ready 40+ of his books but didn’t read DC until last year. Excellent audio.
Someone suggested Red Rabbit, and I’m absolutely loving it. Thanks for the rec, fellow redditor!
Pachinko by Min Jin Lee
Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr can sit between The Goldfinch and Demon Copperhead. Original storytelling, multiple storylines that come together in surprising ways, and the production on the audiobook is top-notch.
