I’m in the worst reading slump right now. I just can’t find any books that interest me anymore. Not even the ones I own seem appealing anymore.
I know it’s more mental if anything— every book I read just feels “samesy”— but I’m hoping if I can find an audiobook that I like it’ll help slowly pull me back into my habit of reading.
Just to clarify, me saying paranormal-/sci-fi-mystery is my attempt at asking for books like The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater where a group of people are brought together to solve this massive mystery or find this lost artifact or whatever over the span of a bunch of books.

Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Chronicles –A magic Inn, space werewolves and vampires, a lot of really unique aliens, mystery, romance, action, a fun and humorous series
A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny is a hard to explain supernatural mystery that feels like Nightmare Before Christmas
The Road to Roswell (I have no idea what Raven Boys is about, but this fits otherwise)
The Expanse series.
Origins are more alien than paranormal, but much of the same flavor and plenty of mystery. Romance has a role, but isn’t on center stage.
Class 5 series by Michelle Diener (sci-fi romance)
BUT for paranormal/fantasy/magical unique, crazy plots I recommend:
The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins (group of people with powers, mystery, keeps you guessing)
The Rook by Daniel O’Malley (group of people with powers, main character is awesome)
