I'm very dyslexic but love to read and have audiobooks on while I'm falling asleep at night. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to pay attention to dense lore or intricate storytelling and just want a series of short chapters covering one simple thing. Randall Munroe's "what if" books are really good for this as well as "The Pig that wants to be Eaten" by Julian Baggini. Just contained chapters of something being explored or explained for a few minutes and moving onto the next one. Huge philosophy nerd and love the absurdity of an idea being explored to it's full extent found in both books mentioned. Alternatively I'm open to whatever topics seem to fit this type of structure. Just looking for more in this style to dig my teeth into and catch some Zs to.

I’d recommend A Short History of Nearly Everything or The Body, both by Bill Bryson. They’re very interesting and were written in an engaging way, even for someone who didn’t like science in high school.
