I know Dan Brown isn’t considered all that good but I remember devouring his books back when I was in my teens. It was exciting and fun. I’m also a sucker for the National Treasure movies with the whole “hunting” and “puzzle” and “lost/legend” aspect of them. Mysteries and histories and legends coming true. It’s okay if it’s not based in reality, but I do like imagining a world where the things that happened in those stories is true. To think life is a little more extraordinary and exciting.
I’m only in my 20s now but reading has been really hard for me for several years and I’m hoping to find a book that I cannot put down. I miss when my fingers itched to pick a book back up so I could keep the story going.
Anyone have any recommendations for anything like this? I’m not entirely sure if what I’m looking for has name for this kind of genre or storytelling. I’ll take good mysteries and whodunnits too!
