Hello all! I've been wanting to read more fantasy/sci-fi books. I've been reading The Forgotten Summer of Seneca via my local library's ebook collection. I'm about halfway through now and I'm deeply enjoying it so far.
I really like fantasy books that are aimed towards teens and young adults but I'm open to pretty much anything. I'd rather stuff that isn't super sexually charged though, but if the story is good enough I might be able to grit and bear it. I also like stuff with magic, other worlds, and worldbuilding, but this isn't a requirement. I also want stuff written by POC/LGBTQIA+ authors where possible but, like I said, I'm pretty flexible as long as it fits into fantasy and science fiction.
I really like stuff that's abstract and whimsical, a bit like A Wrinkle in Time or Jim Henson's movie Labyrinth. Anything that features that kind of surrealism is a massive plus. I am on book four of the Oz series currently and I also really love that, so anything with an "Ozzy" vibe is also great.
Sorry if I'm giving too many details lol. If it's fantasy or science fiction and you think they're good, throw them at me!!
