Looking for romance books that have the male love interests simply be kind, caring, and not toxic cause I can’t keep reading about terrible men 😭 the only example of a book I can think of with a man written by a woman is The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood and maybe Funny Story by Emily Henry so any suggestions welcome.

The Saint of Steel Series by T Kingfisher. The first three books in the series have broken paladins of a dead God sweetly pining, helping, and respecting the competent woman they are in love with (the sweet pining is true in the fourth book too but it’s an m/m romance)

*Where the Forest Meets the Stars.* I don’t like romance usually, but this book was so sweet that it actually made me cry. I probably liked it because the romance is secondary narrative.
One of my favorite series is The Winston Brothers by Penny Reid but _[Beard Science](https://www.romance.io/books/57f88cefde896e8924934022/beard-science-penny-reid)_ is my absolute favorite. I have read every book with Cletus Winston and Jennifer Sylvester. I love them.
And I loved the MMC in _[When Grumpy Met Sunshine](https://www.romance.io/books/65a8d8471d7f70fb2969d523/when-grumpy-met-sunshine-charlotte-stein)_. He is so grumpy but secretly just a big softie.
Anything by Talia Hibbert and Zen Cho’s The Friend Zone Experiment
