Hi, I'd like to read something that has this magic boarding school feeling. But with a female protagonist and queer.
Like the school part in the Novice by Trudi Canavan, Harry Potter or even the Winx saga series. But with a little more focus on wholesome relationships, like in She-Ra maybe?
Anyone know anything like that?

Naomi Novak’s Scholomance series is perfect for your interests!
Seanan McGuire’s Wayward Children series, beginning with *Every Heart a Doorway* is a decent fit. It’s essentially about a boarding school for portal fantasy protagonists who got stuck back in the ‘real’ world and want nothing more than to find their portal again. Tons of representation, and an interesting series structure where the main storyline continues through the odd-numbered books, while the even-numbered books are the portal fantasy backstories of specific individual characters.
The show Supernatural Academy — which is based on a book series by Jaymin Eve — fits the bill, but I haven’t had a chance to read the books yet, so I have no idea how closely (if at all) the show follows them.
