Suggest me a novel where a sister loves her brother despite his depression and/or addiction

Preferably would include the whole family, and it doesn’t have to be constant support. Looking for something where they worry a lot about the brother/son and he knows they do, but a lot of time doesn’t care. Fiction please. Thanks!
