I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Binding, but it was far more sad than I anticipated! It was a beautiful story, but I need something of a palate cleanser, if there’s anything in a similar vein of lgbt+ magical romance? I’ve previously read A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske and have The House on the Cerulean Sea on my list next. I really enjoyed the first act of The Binding, the relationship with Seredith and the monotony(?) of learning a craft, so anything like that too, would be appreciated!
