I designed a bookplate / ex libris stamp for myself, and I’m now wondering what the best way to use it is.
Do bookplates usually go on the left inner cover of the book? And would you stamp it straight into the book, or on a piece of paper and then glue it in? The bookplate is fairly big: https://imgur.com/a/RIh40aA
I’m also wondering whether to put them into all of my books including those with a higher resale value like signed/special editions or old books. On one hand I like the idea of personalising them – I definitely don’t intend on selling them anytime soon – but then again you never know.
