Which of the three books should I read on my two week trip to Europe?
- 11/22/63 by Stephen King
- East of Eden by John Steinbeck
- The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
I need it to hold my attention and I need it to be a five star read.
The bulk of my reading will be on the plane and then some each night before bed.
Open to other suggestions besides these three too.
Don’t want to bring more than one book since I plan to buy a few there and books are heavy.

I vote Monte Cristo because Europe.
East of Eden for me, Count of Monte Cristo has an extremely boring stretch in the middle. That said, consider reading classic literature from a native author in at least one of the countries that you’ll visit. If you’ll be in Paris, Dumas or Hugo would be great to read.
