Critical_Crow_3770 on June 12, 2025 12:54 am I’m seeing dystopian, sci fi, game inspired, ok with YA, alternate reality. So based on that— Bobiverse series—Dennis Taylor (because you liked Project Hail Mary) The Martian—by Andy Weir (same author as PHM) The Seven and a Half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle—Stuart Turton (game-influenced, sci fi, alternate reality, plus a murder mystery) Ender’s Game—Orson Scott Card (it’s a lengthy series if you like it. A game is an important part of the story.) Roadside Picnic—Arkady Strugatsky (inspired the STALKER game) The Road—Cormac McCarthy (a brutal post-apocalyptic novel. Probably should be a game.) Maze Runner—Jane’s Dashner (dystopian, YA, game an important part of the book)
