I’m trying to build a habit for reading after a near decade hiatus. I just finished my 20th book this year and I’m thinking I want to try out some different types of reading. I’m looking for suggestions in the following:
    -Poetry Books
    -Plays
    -Screenplays

    Thank you! 😁

If you like Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play that takes place decades after the end of the last book.

Anything by Tennessee Williams for plays. I especially enjoyed: A streetcar named desire.
I loved Ariel by Silvia Plath, all Silvia Plath’s poetry. I love the organised anarchy of Plath’s poetry.
Another for Poetry might be; the war poems of Wilfred Owen. I really loved this anthology as it vividly paints a picture of the tyrannies and brutalities endured by soldiers as well as being an incisive critique of the notion that war is a glorious and idyllic thing, that it’s an honour to fight and maybe lose one’s life for one’s country.
