Has anyone read Jeffery Deaver or Cromwell? Looking for smart procedurals
I enjoy raw, honest and smart procedurals.
I’m just wrapping up most Michael Connelly and would love to find another writer with characters I want to keep revisiting.
Is Deaver good or how about Cromwell?
I very much enjoy Jeffrey Deaver, but look for Lincoln Rhyme or Kathryn Dance as protagonists. I’m not so fond of his others. Deaver has very intelligent protagonists. Rhyme is all about trace evidence, Dance more psychology and body language.
The Lincoln Rhyme series has a reading order, and there is slow character and relationship development and the occasional repeat villain over the series. But each one can stand alone.
