As the title says, I'm a receptionist and a good chunk of my day is spent reading books on my phone. It's pretty great but I've started to run out of books to read. Which is to say that every place I look for suggestions is mostly just a list of the same books I've either read, tried to read or I'm not interested in.

Some of my favorite books and authors: Dungeon Crawler Carl, under the dome (more than halfway through King, I need a break.) sharp objects (and all her other books), Discworld, Brandon Sanderson (read almost all his work).

I'm really into mystery, horror, fantasy and sci-fi. Open to just about anything though, it just needs to be engaging. No smutt though.

    1. For comedy-mystery, One for the Money by Janet Evanovich

For sci-fi, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams and Hyperion by Dan Simmons

    2. I’ll always recommend His Majesty’s Dragon. It’s a fun series, and it’s a long one.

Going through the classics is always an adventure. Open up the Penguin Classics catalog, point at a random one, and pick it up from the library, or Gutenberg if you have an e-reader.

      Sci-fi: The Warrior’s Apprentice.

      Fantasy: The Curse of Chalion.

Both by my favorite author, Lois Macmaster Bujold. If you like them, they both have series.
