Most of the books I’ve read have been horror, Dean Koontz, Stephen King etc. I’m interested in finding a good mystery to read. It doesn’t matter to me if it’s an older book. I’d appreciate any and all suggestions!

Just finished it and thought it was pretty decent. Kinda of post-apocalyptic mystery book

Agatha Christie is always a good bet. Specifically And Then There Were None and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.

    3. A Place of Execution, Val McDermid. Its very atmospheric and keeps you guessing as to whether a crime was committed or not.

    4. Authors who have written terrific mysteries:

      Agatha Christie (perfection)

      PD James (absolutely brilliant books)

Dorothy Simpson (a great detective series)

Ann Cleeves (really wonderful mystery books featuring Vera Stanhope who is not your typical detective)

      Dick Francis (fast-paced, fun books)

      M. C. Beaton (lots of humor in her Agatha Raisin series)
