I'm working through some personal stuff and I'm looking for books with a capable male protagonist who struggles with a history of sexual trauma. Preference for the event to be violent rather than coerced, but can be entirely off-screen/vague.
I usually read fantasy, but I've been wanting to branch out lately, although I generally don't much like contemporary real world settings.
