I have read ‘Lolita’ (Vladimir Nabokov), ‘My dark Vanessa’ (Elizabeth Russell), and ‘Innocents’ (Cathy Coots) and would like to find something similar. I am thinking of picking up ‘My absolute darling’ (Gabriel Tallent) but am not sure… I’m very indecisive!
I have also recently read ‘Perfume: the story of a murderer’ (Patrick Süskind) and really loved the character building. Any thoughts?
