HELLO!
I've been a reader since Quarantine started and I've enjoyed reading fantasy, particularly high fantasy. I think I read it because I absolutely love fantasy worlds with dragons, magic systems, and other things.
One thing I've noticed though is that I'm slowly getting disinterested in YA Fantasy, for context, I'm starting out Uni and idk why but books that are usually things I'd like (These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong and other Fantasy books) Have been less interesting to me. I've also been in a book slump but idk why. But I really want a very specific type of High Fantasy.
I could really use a High Fantasy where the MC is set through many shit like challanges and people are always against him so he eventually builds himself and train hard to become the top. No I don't want CHOSEN ONE, I want someone who had to work hard to get to the top. Bonus points if it has good magic systems.
One example of this is A Winter's Promise (Despite being YA, I think the challenges ophelia experienced is what made me like her.) As well as other fantasy books. So please HMU with High Fantasy Recs like this (Or just good High Fantasy Recs in general, I don't mind.)
