I'm in the mood for a dystopian mega corp story similar to the TV show Severance, and after a bit of searching around I'm left deciding between reading The Warehouse by Rob Hart, or the second book (Authority) in the Southern Reach Trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer. Feel free to add more to this list if any come to mind!
I really enjoyed Annihilation and Borne, and it just surprises me that even though Annihilation is so well regarded here and in sci fi communities, it's barely got a passing score on Goodreads. And the second and third book in the trilogy are rated even worse (which, I hate to admit, makes me hesitant to read them).
I don't read a lot, so I try my best to pick the books that I'll most likely enjoy. I'm wondering which of these y'all would recommend, or if you have any other suggestions.
