Hi, I recently finished all English translated books by Yukito Ayatsuji and I enjoyed them all.
Decagon house murders is a classic detective story and Another is atmospheric book about unveiling a mystery or two.
I really enjoyed them both and I am looking for something similar – atmospheric, melancholic vibes, can be horror but it's not required.
