Honestly I think my education on literature is lacking. I've read some non-fiction books, but I'm looking for something that maybe speaks to some sort of fact about the human experience. Currently I'm reading "Men Who Hate Women" by Laura Bates. A theme that never fails to make me cry in stories/movies is self-sacrifice so bonus points for that. Most upvoted comment I'll buy the book and do no research so I can go in blind. Thank you to anyone who responds!
