What book took you the longest to read? Was it because you struggled to get into it or just because it was verbose or overly complicated? Did it satisfy you to finally finish it or was it just like trudging through wet sand?
girl with the dragon tattoo. My dad gave it to me and said I might like it. I read about 100 pages and dnfed, I gave it another try, same thing. I gave it one more try since I hate DNFing then finished it in a day. One of the best books i’ve ever read. Just needed a push to get through the start

Anna Karenina. The first 2/3 was a trudge. But then I watched the movie with Keira Knightly & spoiled the book. However, after understanding the characters & the story, the book became so much better & I sped through the last 1/3 & loved it.

I got lost in the details. Everyone had the same names. I had to restart it a few times but it wa great

I’ve been working on Infinite Jest off and on for years. I’m gonna push through this year for sure. I’m over halfway done this time.
