Hey! I’m just looking for a cozy book in a small port town? I’m ok with really any genre, but preferable slice of life? Horror is ok too, I’ve read The Fisherman and enjoyed the fables and tales and horror of that book. But really anything port / lighthouse / ocean related I’m open to.

How about a murder mystery? Set in the ports and inlets next to Vigo, Galicia, Spain, La playa de los ahogados (death on a Galician shore) by Domingo villar is a great murder mystery that involves boats, docks, early morning fish auctions when they get back in at 4am, and rainy moody vibes. I liked it a lot. I read it in Spanish though and I’m not sure if the English translation would be perfect, but it was a fairly popular book in English too. They made a movie out of it
