A fantasy book featuring a group of adventurers amid a dangerous world
A bit like a dnd game or baldur’s gate where they have a spot to meet in a city like a tavern, where they take quests. Good if it has descriptions of medieval cities too. If it has dark and realistic themes, all the better.
BG has its own literature offshoot under ‘Forgotten Realms’, there are hundreds(?) of books in that ‘verse now and quality varies accordingly. But you might find something interesting.
