Hi everyone! I’m looking to dive into the world of psychology and would love some nonfiction book recommendations. I’m especially interested in understanding how the human mind works — behavior, cognition, emotion, habits, decision-making, all of it.
I’m hoping to find books that are:
• Beginner-friendly (no psych degree needed!)
• Scientifically grounded (not pop-psych fluff)
• Engaging to read – great storytelling or real-world applications are a huge plus
• Covering core psychological concepts, famous experiments, or insights into how we think and behave
If there are any books that really changed how you see yourself or others, I’d love to hear about them!
Thanks in advance 🙌
