Can anyone suggest some good books with women in this age range that don't focus on:
1. Motherhood/fertility/deciding whether to have children
2. The female characters finding romantic love (gosh, spinsters are scary).
3. Characters navigating divorce or the breakdown of a romantic relationship.
I'm open to any genre but bonus points scifi!

The Holly Gibney books by Stephen King sounds like a great fit! No interest in romance or having kids. A very well-written and fully developed character. She has OCD, if that matters.
Copied from Wikipedia: “Originally appearing in the Bill Hodges trilogy of novels ([*Mr. Mercedes*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Mercedes), [*Finders Keepers*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finders_Keepers_(King_novel)) and [*End of Watch*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End_of_Watch_(novel))), she later appears as a major supporting character in [*The Outsider*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Outsider_(King_novel)) and as the main character in [*If It Bleeds*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_It_Bleeds), a novella included in the [collection of the same name](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_It_Bleeds), as well as the novels [*Holly*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holly_(novel)) and [*Never Flinch*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Never_Flinch).”
You might also enjoy the Ruth Galloway series by Elly Griffiths. There is some romance and later also a child, but it is not the overall focus. These are crime novels, and Ruth is a forensic archaeologist who teaches at a university as well as assisting the police. She is very much career minded and not to impressed with men in general. These are not super gory/graphic crime novels, but they do not tip over into cozy crime either.
