If you want even cheaper books go to a charity shop. Most towns have them.

Whereabouts in the UK are you? There’s some really great independent bookshops in the bigger cities, it’s probably worth going in to one and looking around. Some will have bookseller recommended ones (usually with a little card under the shelf) and most of the time staff will be happy to chat to you or make a few recommendations 🙂
