I love Thriftbooks as a concept and usually I don't have any issues with what they send . . . honestly, would rather buy used and it have a torn corner or whatever. As long as the pages are there I don't even care if the cover is missing. But this is the second time I've gotten a book from them that had a price tag on it and I payed way more than the tag.
First was an old copy of a Virginia Woolf book that had the price as $3 on the cover. I paid $6.
Now I got a paperback that's $20 new but the copy has a price tag from Half Price Books for $3. I paid $13.
I understand their books are probably sourced in a way that they are paying way less than what I'm buying it for, but they could at least remove the damn price tag. Is there any recourse to complaining to their customer service? Should I even bother?
