I just finished Lonesome Dove and am already missing Gus, Call, Newt, and Deet 🥺. What should I read next? Preferably from a diff genre. Western/Epics isn't exactly my genre. I ended up enjoying Lonesome Dove because it was complex, real, and had depth. Looking for a similar book, where it has depth. I don't mind romance but I prefer the sort of romance Lonesome Dove had or even the kind of romance in Taylor Jenkins Reid's 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo, where romance has depth and is just part of the bigger story. I don't like books where Romance is entire focus.
