I would say one sided enemies to lovers, but I feel it doesn't have to end with them hashing it out and becoming a couple. Also books that market themselves with this trope are just not what I'm looking for (think book covers with black and white photos of men, or blurbs like: "LILY: He was my everything. But then everything changed. HUNTER: I shouldn't want her. She ruined my life." Ya see what I mean?) I want something written with care and skill.
Any plotline that involves MMC hating FMC, for valid reasons, where FMC is maybe apologetic also, and they have this unpleasant, tense dynamic which turns into something else. Think of them trying to hash things out, and suddenly bam! A kiss scene out of nowhere. They don't have to have healthy 'couple' dynamics. The closest thing I've read is Lemonade by Nina Pennacci but it wasnt really quite it, and the MMC there was just plain crazy and not at all justified.
