It's hard to put into words exactly what I'm after – I'm craving a book with a long and arduous adventure, with a us against the world/just me and my 1 trusted companion type vibe. Romantic or platonic, I'm not too fussed, but I would prefer not to have an eventual romance spoiled in your description of the book please!
Think Fitz and the Fool, Frodo and Sam, anything that fits that kinda vibe with excellent character work. Anything that would make a rad music video to "King and Lionheart" by Of Monsters and Men. 😅
No YA recs, pretty please, but anything else goes. I'm envisioning fantasy books would most fit this vibe, but I'll read any genre.
