Hello! My husband and I (30m/27f) have a roadtrip coming up and we’re wanting some recommendations on some audiobooks we would both enjoy.
He reads mostly fantasy and sci-fi (GOT Warhammer40k) and I read a little of everything but mostly romantasy and thriller/horror.
We tried the Witcher on audio for our last roadtrip but I couldn’t get into it. It’s about 16hrs round trip (8 there and back) so we might like to pick one or two shorter books. I was thinking Red Rising or Project Hail Mary (as they have been suggested in other husband recommendation threads) but wanted to shoot my shot and see if anyone had any suggestions that were shorter.

Red rising is a great idea since it fits in with his interests and it also has an amazing romance subplot for you.
Also since you like thriller and he likes fantasy/sf laundry files might be a good idea
