I was recently gifted ‘A Brief History of Time’ by Stephen Hawking, and I’ve really been enjoying it. Astronomy is something I’ve always been fairly fascinated with, but I’m not much of a book person, so I didn’t really bother with astronomy books. However, having just about finished A Brief History of Time and having enjoyed it, I figured reading some other astronomy books could be a nice change of pace from staring at a screen all day.
What books would you recommend I read afterwards? It doesn’t have to be about the Big Bang or anything, as long as it’s about astronomy, ideally being around the same difficulty (or greater than) a brief history of time when it comes to the topics discussed.

**The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking)** by Dr. Katie Mack is a an easy read on cosmology and well written. She explains the theories on how the universe will end.
Black Hole Survival Guide by Janna Levin is such a precious little book, and has lovely illustrations too
*Fear of a black universe* by Stephon Alexander
