I'm curious if anyone else has ever found music that unexpectedly matched the mood or tone of a book they were reading. It’s happened to me a few times. After finishing Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver, I found myself really connecting it with Zach Bryan’s I Remember Everything—something about the vibe just felt in sync with the book. I had a similar experience while reading The City and the Stars, where the music of A Winged Victory for the Sullen seemed to deepen my connection with the story. Anyone else experienced something like this—where music unintentionally enhances the reading experience?

not unintentional but john connolly posts playlists to match his books. and mike oldfield’s the songs of distant earth is based on arthur c. clarke’s novel, so they should go well together (never tried it, can only read in silence).
