I had a baby a little over a year ago. So I completely dropped reading now I’m finally in a place where I can start again. Some of my favorite reads were Red Rising, Can’t hurt me, The Alchemist, Book of Five Rings, and Fahrenheit 451. I’d assume an easier read would be best to start but I’m open to any suggestions.

Have you read One Hundred Years of Solitude by Marquez?
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
Demon Copperhead
Ordinary Grace
**Fiction**: If *Cats Disappeared from the World* (short, straightforward, yet substantive).
**Nonfiction**: A *VSI* on a topic of interest.
**Based on your reads**: If you liked *Fahrenheit 451*, you will like *1984* and *Animal Farm*, as well as *Never Let Me Go*.
MEM by Bethany C. Morrow!
A short stay in hell
Seconding Flowers for Algernon, however if you’re looking for some shorter nom fiction reads, The Zoo Memoirs by Gerry Durrell are great, as are James Herriot’s stories.
I don’t know your age or gender but My Dark Vanessa got so many of my girl friends of similar age back into reading (early 30s)
**The Midnight Library** by Matt Haig. If you haven’t gotten to this yet it is really, really good!
Everyone on this train is a suspect by Benjamin Stevenson
