Ever feel like you're constantly behind, even before the day starts?
I was stuck in that cycle—waking up groggy, rushing through tasks, and ending the day feeling like nothing really moved forward… until I read The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.
It’s not just a “get up early” book. It’s about how you start your day—with purpose. Hal outlines 6 practices (he calls them S.A.V.E.R.S.) that take about an hour, and they seriously shifted my energy, focus, and clarity.
What I loved most? You don’t need to be a morning person. You just need the willingness to give yourself one hour—before the world takes over.
Here’s the full summary I wrote (if you’re curious):

Has anyone else tried it? Did you stick with it—or adapt the routine in your own way? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Never been a morning person. Never read any books on it. When I worked I would set the alarm. Get up, don’t cheat and pause it. Shower, essential for helping wake up. Do the morning chores, prep etc. And go. never been late ever. Always a bit early. But I never got to like it.
Now I don’t have to. I still get up and shower…but not so early. Really it was just time management. Not liking the need to start the day at a certain time.
