Looking for Fictional Books on these periods: Ancient Iran/Persian Empire; Ancient Egypt (Cleopatra); Mesopotamia (ancient Irag). (More context in comments)

I’m basically looking for well done fiction about those areas. Something like Ken Follet’s The Pillars of the Earth, but in ancient times.

The areas don’t need to be exclusive to what I stated in the title, i.e. a book about Egypt that isn’t about Cleopatra but is about that period of time (or close to it). This is especially true with Mesopotamia, which I believe will have very little for fiction.

I just want to read adventure books with interesting characters from those time periods.
