I'm looking for books of whatever length that are super fast paced. I want some good page turners that make me feel breathless. Something with an immediate hook and so good that I'll have to finish the book in one sitting.
Bonus points for books that aren't thrillers, as I know thrillers are typically fast paced reads. I'll read any genre tho, including thrillers.

Matthew Reilly Ice Station (1st in the Scarecrow series)
AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GLOBE,
Anarctica is the last unconquered continent, a murderous expanse of howling winds, blinding whiteouts and deadly crevasses. On one edge of Antarctica is Wilkes Station. Beneath Wilkes Station is the gate to hell itself…IN THE COLDEST PLACE ON EARTH, A team of U.S. divers, exploring three thousand feet beneath the ice shelf has vanished. Sending out an SOS, Wilkes draws a rapid deployment team of Marines-and someone else…THE HEAT IS ON…
First comes a horrific firefight. Then comes a plunge into a drowning pool filled with killer whales. Next comes the hard part, as a handful of survivors begin an electrifying, red-hot, non-stop battle of survival across the continent and against wave after wave of elite military assassins-who’ve all come for one thing: a secret buried deep beneath the ice…
Dan Brown’s *The Da Vinci Code*. That book moves at an unbelievable pace, as in, it’s hard to believe the characters are making progress this fast. Ancient puzzles that have tormented history’s greatest scholars will be solved by our protagonists in only a matter of minutes!
John Steakly’s Armor comes to mind.
Also The Vang: The Military Form by Christopher Rowley.
Champions of the Gods by Vincent Kane OR Star Wars Nullspawn Rising
Starter Villain
Hell island by Matthew Reilly, nothing but action for 150 pages
I like British mystery writer Robert Goddard. Into the Blue (no relation to the film) is good.
I don’t know if it’s universal but I couldn’t sleep last night and read Sweet Bean Paste in about 2 hours.
The Martian?
I would recommend Vicious by V.E. Schwab! Finished it super quick and really enjoyed it.
Lucifer’s Hammer by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle, about a meteor that’s about to strike Earth…. You guys have got me wanting to read Verity.

She Rides Shotgun by Jordan Harper
The List of Seven by Mark Frost
Razorblade Tears by S. A Cosby
Orphan X series by Gregg Hurwitz
One Second After by William Forstchen

Prob Angels and Demons but any Dan Brown really.
My “last didn’t want to put it down” page turner was the first of NK Jamison’s broken earth trilogy
