I’m looking for a fantasy romance novel (I mean duh to that part cause of title), where the romantic interest is a villain/ dark king, or along those lines, where they also act like a hero but only for the protagonist, basically the only person they’re soft/kind with/ let guard down is the protagonist – humanoid characters I feel I should add, so elves, werewolves, maybe a demon that’s half human/shifts into human (I want to live vicariously through the characters a bit). I also like slow burns, but not super slow, by at least the middle of the book I expect some action after building the sexual tension/love for so long lol I know there’s probably a few books like this just hoping to find one that I can really get into
