Hello! im new hear and wanted to ask for book recomandations going into 2026 as i finish up my current selection hopefully by november. i have been a bit of a picky reader lately and im challenging anyone(/lh) who knows books similar to what im looking for:
- fanstasy but with a female protag that goes from helpless to a leader or her running away from her old life do to the plot pushing her to
- books set in edo period or earlier japan (its ok if its in japanese as well) following a female lead as well, bonus points if shes born into power and/or onna-musha
- well written sapphic novels that invlove a fem and another fem in a modern day setting (bonus if its in a dense city area)
