My friend just finished a really obscure book that I guess you can only get certain places called “The Fall of Constantinople” by Steven Runciman. This is not up my alley AT ALL, but he is a voracious reader and is looking for more historical novels in the same vein. I’d like to get some for him as a gift, but I have no idea what to look for. Any suggestions? TYIA! 🙂
