Basically what the title says. A book you’ve read that basically no one else has. One book like this was “Better Angel” by Forman Brown and it is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Plus, it only has 175 ratings on Goodreads. I’d love to get some book recs for something I’ve never heard of, so if you have something, please share! Any genre is fine, but preferably fiction.

175 ratings on goodreads does not feel extremely obscure to me
Anyway, one I read and loved last year is A Quiet Foghorn by Raymond Luczak (10 goodreads ratings.) I’ve never seen it randomly discussed anywhere, unless I was the one discussing it.
I am Not Jackson Pollock by John Haskell. I stumbled upon it at a book store and it bewitched me. A collection of, I don’t know, vignettes based on mostly real life events. It sounds like essays but it’s really not. They’re short narrative pieces that examine events while also chopping them up and weaving them between thematically related pieces.
I like Living To Learn, Learning To Live by Micheal Wilfong on Amazon
